In 1977, Bob Vonnegut founded Back Country Boat Works, a small ships carpentry business that satisfied his passion as both a craftsman and a carpenter. 37 years later, the company has grown into a dynamic boat building and repair company with an in depth experience in yacht interior refits, and custom restorations and repairs in both wooden and fiberglass vessels. The dedication and passion that built the company 37 years ago, continue to be its driving force today.
